Take your pick Helen, there seems to be several theories. https://www.irishpost.com/news/what...and-what-is-its-place-in-todays-society-91001
I hate all this ****, including chants about Forest as scabs. I'm firmly behind the Orgreave campaign, but petty bigotry towards people that largely were not involved is small minded & cheap at best & does nothing to support real causes of injustice. This is the same sort of thing really. Respect to Arabian Ian, as he is a good poster & clearly not a sectarian.
I thought a hun was someone who keeps getting asked on Facebook if they are ok, before being told to inbox somebody.
I'm with you JP. There is no place for it in society or football. The scab chant when we play Forest is just stupid and ignorant. I hate it.
Facebook-an intrusive site who hoover up all your private data, all your pictures of dogs and cats, all your pictures of your evening meal, every single thing about you, and sell it to the entire world. Oh, then they allow bullying, self harm, shootings, and other appalling posts before they take it down after enough pressure and views. Social media? If ever there was something so mis-named
Young lads who chant Scab at Forest games only do so because they don’t know the meaning and the weight behind the insult. As you say, ignorance.
