    Hasn't played since August and hasn't played a league game since last April. Another we would have to give time to so they can get up to speed when we don't have time to give looking at our league position.

    My wife's a Blackburn fan, so have seen a fair bit of them. Smallwood is a terrible player at this level. He's a workhorse, but play just bypasses him to easily.

    Shocked to see so many complain about this one. Can't say I have seen him play loads to be honest, but we are crying out for players with Championship experience in this side and this guy has that in abundance. Surely its a no-brainer to get him in.

    Matt Mills had experience.

    If Smallwood signs, then I'll be behind him and judge him on how he plays for us. It might be that he is a good signing for League 1.

    But, he is currently nowhere near the Blackburn team, even after injuries. And that is for a reason. Have very little reason to believe that he'll improve us.

    Cant be any worse than the dross we are seeing at the moment, we are shipping goals left right and centre. Team is desperate for leaders to take control of the games.

    My point is that I can't work out what people want on here. Got people moaning about signing foreign players from odd leagues and desperate for Championship experience, but then the club is linked to someone with that and then people moan he isn't good enough. We would all love to sign some amazing players with bags of experience in this league but the fact is we cannot afford this.
