So we had given up on the Championship before Struber was appointed?

I read as he meant the atmosphere around the club in general was doom and gloom and he had to work on changing the atmosphere. In other words if he hadn’t come we would have definitely been relegated where now there is a feeling of we have a chance.

Yep, that's roughly my interpretation of the original German text.

Yep, five points adrift when he came. Now we are err……………………………………………………………………………..

[Not that I blame Gerhard for this.]

Yep, I do agree that we've...errrrr...slipped back somewhat after pulling back the big gap when he started. To a certain extent that can be explained by improved form of rivals, Stoke and Huddersfield, for example, but there's no doubt our form has slipped.

Of course it's disappointing that we were resigned to relegation in November.

The league we are in is largely irrelevant to the owners imho

in fact I think their strategy probably works a bit better for them if we are in league one

I accepted this a while ago and have voted with my feet

There’s no financial sense in that. None at all.

You'd think if all head coaches are treated the same he will be fired if we go down. Morais was fired after a relegation when as you say he had no transfer window. Stendel was sacked as one of our most popular and successful managers in our history. Neither got the backing of the board to the level Struber has so it would be very strange if he's the one of the three to survive.

In preferring to be in the third division. We make a huge loss.

The board were planning for L1 in the summer, the evidence for this is the transfer activity that took place then.

We were down before we kicked a ball in anger.... In my opinion for what it's worth The board set us up to fail straight away.... They knew the quality of the players wouldn't hack it in the championship they know their plan works better in league one less wonga to pay in wages less overheads gives them more returns on their sales... Hence Conway says best transfer window ever.... If they had any intentions of survival in this league they would have provided the necessary tools to succeed....bull **** merchants the lot of them in my opinion... Wouldnt blame the players who are good enough for this league for chalking **** it run down their contracts and leave for bugger all (not going to happen ) only way to hurt this mob is to hit them In the pocket...... Maybe then they might get the message and **** off else where... Just my opinion....
Rant over.... For the time being

Thank you but alas I'm only the warm up act for what I fear is to come from some.. But that's going to be Conway's problem not mine lol
