    Both those two did well too.

    I actually know Stan's ex-wife Adrienn. She was working in a bar in Austria as I was talking to a mate about Barnsley football, in English (well, in Tarn). She didn't understand Tarn but she kept hearing "Barnsley" and eventually realised we were from there, and we got talking in German. She loved it in Barnsley, as did Stan, they lived in a flat somewhere near the ground, but she couldn't remember where. Stan was a real hero for me, and the fans loved him!

    Good shout with Macken. We won all 5 games he scored in between signing permanently and the end of that season. Three games Ferenczi scored in resulted in wins in his debut season. Bogdanovic's goals yielded just one win by the end of that season.

    I would say he probably under performed a little bit. Had all the talent in the world, but never seemed to consistently perform.

    Although he scored one of the best goals I've ever seen live - at Preston on a Tuesday evening.

    Yeah, agreed. The reason I mention him as that at the time, we didn't think we stood a hope in hell of getting him in, so it was a bit of a coup.
    In the end he turned out to be a South American Chris Lumsdon. :)
