    While they still have a chance of promotion Toney isnt for sale. Hes told Ivan he'll review it in the summer. If only our board had done similar.

    Easy to say when he’s not coming to the end of his contract. He knows he can still get the same price for him in the summer.

    He’s not saying the same about Marcus Maddison, who is out of contract in the summer. He’s trying to cash in there.

    What use would that be? The January transfer window is generally over-priced, and for panic buys. We'd have struggled to replace Pinnock/Lindsay half way through a season, even more so than we did in the summer. Although, you could argue it couldn't get much worse than it has.

    It would have bedded in our new signings and put us higher up the table. And maybe give us time to persuade him to sign another contract. Or at worst someone would gave panic bought him at a higher price And if that hadnt worked out and he went on a free then we'd probably still be a championship side and he'd have owed us nothing.

    Peterborough have losses of over £12 million sat on their balance sheet. I wouldn't believe all MacAnthony's spiel regarding the transfer fees they receive.

    When the news broke about an offer of £10 million. I posted last week Toney rejected moving.
    I was told last week he told the club he would wait until Summer.
    In this instance sounds like a bit of creative management by the club.
    However he does get top dollar for his players normally

    After reading many things about Anthoney I read some of his tweets from time to time.One in particular what stands out was a supporter asking him about a player potentially leaving Peterborough his reply was how else can I buy my house in the Bahamas. Tongue in cheek or disrespectful?

    The so-called big fees actually aren’t. They’re massively layered with add ons that are unlikely to come off. But he can quote “sold for £6millon”

    He’s a chancer and they’ve been stuck down there for years, because he sells their best talent.
