    Here’s a pic a mate had just posted on Facebook. Alan is the guy with the stick, his family own Kinsley dog track where this pic was taken tonight.

    Teddy Curran ( who we all know as Terry) is Alan’s brother. Along side him Billy Askew, ex HullCity & our own Wayne Biggins.

    Generally accepted that Billy Whitehurst was one of the hardest players ever to put a pair
    of boots on. No quarter asked or given. Used to go in where it hurt and never complained
    when he was on the receiving end, which was very rarely.

    Loved watching Wayne Biggins when he played for us.Scored 16 in 47 appearances.
    Gutted when we sold him to Celtic.

    He certainly did. I don't know what it was about Andy though. He was with us for a fair time, but I used to get the
    feeling that his heart was not fully "in it, " so it came as no surprise when he left us to join Huddersfield Town.
