Bambo Diaby

It could drag on and on this. Nothing looking good right now, is it.

I know everyone's on a massive downer atm, understandably. But I just wish people would be more behind the team, regardless of the board, Dane, this Bambo debacle.

On Saturday, when the line-up was announced/posted on Twitter, every other comment was: "ahhhh we're rubbish", "what a Schmidt team", etc. Why do you support Barnsley? Not because they chuffing win every week is it?

And if I was one of the team, or read this board, seeing people delight in my apparent inadequacy, it would hardly inspire me to "fight for the cause", so to speak.

Just saying.

I hope Bambo comes back soon. I think a back 3 of Bambo, Sole, and Halme, with wingbacks and a CDM could shore us up a bit.

 

Cant see him getting straight back in even if things work in his favour, Struber has his man in now Solbauer and Andersen looks bomb proof for some reason that I cannae work oot.

 

There both from the remarkable footballing nation of austria that's why bambo could struggle to get back in the team no other reason.

Yes having googled it your right he is Danish, not sure how he has kept his place and escaped been dropped on so many occasions this season.

 

Because we literally don't have another CB? Halme you could make the argument for, but he's just as bad as Mads at the back, in my opinion. He shines in Midfield because there are people behind him when he makes a mistake.

 

It’s fair to say, bambo is our best defender and has definitely been missed. We are that bad at the back.

Keith Tracey got sack for turning up at Preston Boxing Day pissed up so who knows.
Am sure Nathan Doyle got sack but might be wrong.

 

I dont think halme is worse than anderson, watching anderson at times this season has made me think about getting my boots back out and I'm about 2 stone over weight and pushing 40. I think halmes main problem playing in defence is pace or lack of it, especially as we played so high, I remember the goal we conceded away at preston where he stared off a good bit infront of their striker in the race for the ball and ended up getting beat to it and we conceded.
