    From what I remember these lads were pretty solid, all in tune with one another, and didn't put a foot wrong. If they bring their boots, that's the back four sorted.

    Am I thinking of a different band? Because what I remember was a really poor 'show' of a few lads hidden away at the back of the deserted west stand?

    Not the fault of the band by the way, just terrible organisation

    And I’m sure that was absolutely nothing to do with the fact it was p*ssing it down and live electrics on the pitch might have been a tad bit dodgy

    Probably. it was pretty decent build up to a game.
    They did have to move them to the west stand concourse as it had been pissing it down and there was a heath and safety concern
    The new flags etc were launched at the same time

    I wasn't sure it was them or not. The performance was really good but having them buried in the west stand (and if I recall not even telling people where they were) was poor. Someone at a multimillion pound business really should have though "hmm it's winter in Barnsley. I'll hire a gazebo" or something.

    Health and safety. The BBC weather app said it would stay dry, which pretty much guarantees the opposite.
