There are 16 games left before the end of the season. That's slightly more than a third of the season to go. Many on this Board have already declared that they won't be visiting Oakwell next season and some won't be going again this season. Various reasons are put forward - the Board, the defence, Jumble Lane crossing etc. etc. From a personal point of view it would please me enormously if those folk stopped posting until we have a successful team again when I am sure they will be back. I say this, not as a so called "happy clapper", but it's just that reading the Board at present depresses me and I don't like being depressed.
I am in London tomorrow and so will.miss the match. Disappointed with the board but will renew my season ticket next year despite which league we are in. Prefer the championship obviously but supporter the reds since 1968 so it is in my blood. Good luck to the Reds tomorrow , give our supporters the lift we all need.COYReds@!
I understand what you mean but logic dictates that there will be more positive posts when your side is doing well. Just look at the non footy threads until then!
I actually think there are less posts when things are going well. I like to sound off after a defeat I can't sound off to Laura and George. Laura isn't into football apart from watching players arses when she comes to matches and George is 4 months old.
If he’s decent in the air give him a go in defence. If he’s good enough he’s old enough. Actually we are Barnsley we even overlook the first part.
I have no wish whatsoever to gain control of what anyone says. I was asking, quite politely I thought, that some might give it a rest for a while.
So are you basically saying that those of us who have supported the club for many years, but are alarmed at its current direction, should just stay quiet?
No not saying that at all. I was talking about those who have declared that they are not going to Oakwell again for the variety of reasons I set out.
