Did ok aerially but against a smallish striker. Comfortable in possession but looked like he needs game time against better opposition. Never stopped talking and organised those around him but I'm not sure he would help us at this moment.
Would have been a decent acquisition last summer

Communication across the back 4 would be a start , it's needs to start on the field cos if coaching staff are having to tell em to shift they lose a few seconds to react and then get undone

Which number was he wearing? The team sheet stated that the trialist was wearing no4?
But the tall lad On the edge of the box isn’t an u23!

Barnsley's amazing revolutionary scouting system notices a player exists 3 months after his contract ends and after we've thrown away point after point.

Sack the lot of the recruitment team and if that involves James too then sadly I'm saying oh well bye bye

    I hope we sign him.

He has 200-some apps at Championship level. And at the very least, then, he offers Herr Frubes another (experienced) option; he could play 3 at the back more comfortably, for example.

This lad might take a game or two to get going but, according to everyone on here, we're down already — so what difference does that make?

Also, hard to judge the lad's ability after a single game with the U23s.

247 appearances in the Champs if wikipedia is bang on.

Probably defend no different to Diaby.

Too little too late. Needed centre backs since September but in February our pathetic owners are looking in the reject bin for any unemployed footballers because they are so desperate.

    Absolute shambles

He’s scored some goals for a Centre half. I’d get him up top

So if Conway Trading Ltd. had been more successful with their picks — i.e. the 13 or so young uns that they bought in August are all wonderkids — and we are playing really well, and are comfortably 10th, but Conway's intention is still just to milk the club, you'd still be as uninterested?

It's not just that we've lost a lot: your lack of enthusiasm is morally predicated?

No it's not that we've lost a lot. It's that our owners treat fans with disdain, that there is absolutely zero connection between them and the lifeblood of the club. That they keep us in the dark about everything. That they sell any player a bid cones in for because there might not be any other bids later. That they sign players based in resale value not ability.

It's everything about the place since these horrible horrible people came in and ripped it's heart out
