That's not quite true though is it Bazza. The reporter asked is it just a case that these players aren't good enough and Struber said something like young players can find it harder to learn. That was regarding set plays.

Another one on that list is called Pablo Escobar. There's a joke in this somewhere, not quite coming to me at the moment, been a long day. Watch out for the Croatian guy released by grasshoppers, he's the nearest to Austria.

Was surprised Slim Pickings isn't on that list.

I really think it's too late now. If any of these players were really that good they would have been snapped up in January. we have to hope Ritz Cracker, Soul Banger & Ludwig Van Beethoven get up to speed quickly. Struber needs to orchestrate a recovery.

Jake Wright released by Sheff U would be my pick. Blunts fans rate him very highly.

Does anyone else contemplate bringing in a free agent at this stage and think what's the point?

Unless they are match fit or close to match fit then its hardly going to be a signing that saves us.

In terms of reinforcements I think we're about a month too late and that would be with a player who was match fit and could fit straight into the first team.

I agree. The ship has sailed. We need to hope and pray these lads can put a run together.

Hopefully that unprofessional first half at Charlton was a turning point and wasn’t one of the last few nails in our coffin .
