Really? Thought he was our most dangerous threat up front, certainly in the first half, looked sharp. However I thought Bahre did play well when he came on for a change though.
Chaplin wasn’t happy and was questioning the decision. Tbf something had to change and I thought the substitution actually worked well.
Can you explain that one please? Chaplin had not been effective today. He was unlikely to have done much more , if he'd been kept on the pitch.
I thought Brown was our most dangerous up top. Looked pacy and won a lot in the air. And then Woodrow got our goal and linked well. Hopefully Conor will get back to his December form.
Trouble is, brown can’t hit a cows arse with a banjo normally. Gets into some great positions but he just isn’t a natural goalscorer whereas Chaplin is imho.
Did alright did Magic Mike for his first game in a while. Unlucky not to get an assist along the way.
Yep, when (if?) he gets his finishing up to standard, he’ll be a top end championship player. I can only remember Chaplin having one shot today, the snapshot that went straight to the keeper, and when he’s not getting the chances, his linkup play needs to be there and today I didn’t think it was.
Completely disagree. Thought it was Chaplin’s worst game since Birmingham away & the sub allowed Woodrow to go up front. Also thought Bahre did pretty well. In fact we had our best spell of the game following this sub
I don't think either are natural goalscorers, chaplin offers energy and workrate. The only goalscorer we have is Woodrow really.
Thought we had our best spell when Stiles came on missen. Bahre his first 3 touches, he was playing the wrong way.
He did well too although I’m not Thomas’s biggest fan anyway, little end product & often gives the ball away which I knows something Bahre’s also guilty of a lot
