I actually don’t mind Andersen. He wins a lot in the air but he has a mistake in him currently, I think he’ll come good eventually.

However that run down the right... it was like they were both running in slow motion whilst going through sludge. Painful to watch.

Yea....i think wickham beat him 3 times on that run and all he did was go forward!!
The other 2 bits for me was where he received a throw in from williams without a player within 2 meters of him and he mis controlled it into touch...then at the death where his touch and pass gave the a throw in to them when we should have been on the attack.
I feel sorry for him, i really do....hes just not championship standard

Agree mads could have best game ever and if that happens given is history this would be highlighted the most and rightly so. Very amateur. I even laughed and volleyed my chair when that happened lol

I don’t rate Anderson or Sollbauer but Sollbauer definitely angered me more today.

He got away with several fouls that would’ve given free kicks away in dangerous positions. Just completely needless ones.

Also in the first half he was given the ball in lots of space yet instead of going forward he played Anderson into danger on a couple of occasions & then had the cheek to criticise Anderson after his own balls up

Watched him closely today, the lads decision making at the minute is shocking but it can improve, he will be a decent defender in a few years time. Encouraging the lad rather than battering him will do him the world of good, I couldn't have imagined myself at his age in a new country plying my trade.

Well, your witch hunt against Solbauer on today's performance balances that out!:D

I thought Sollbauer much better than the last two game reports reported . Mads is shocking IMHO slow, not great in air but mostly his positioning is awful like that of an 8 year old . Our poor CB’s this year have cost us our place inThe championship . Watched the reds 45 years and not seen a worse CB pairing than any of the permutations this year

It does seem like I have it in for him, I agree.

He got put up against their big bloke today, whereas Mads got an easier ride.

But he booted the Charlton bloke twice a couple of seconds after the ball had gone last week and looked like he'd be sent off any time soon, looking well off the pace. Today he refused to play it forward many a time when playing it sideways to put Mads in potential trouble.

Let's see what he does if he's asked to take it up from the goalie on the 6 yard line.

I want em all to do well and he may well come good.

But I don't think he's better than Mads as a defender. Yet Mads(and Jordan) get trounced on here.

Here's a question - who's thickest? The man who asks Mads Andersen to do stuff he can't do or Mads Andersen for trying to do it?

He was awful first half. Got better as the game went on. Other lad same. Both not great.

He showed 10 times more defensive ability today than Andersen. Granted he did keep playing the ball to him square but you can't blame the player passing it for the player receiving it being rubbish.

He had about 4 chances to stick his foot in and take the ball, or at worst, the man. He failed to do it and just ushered him through. The bloke is gash.

But it isn’t improving. There’s nothing to suggest he can do it at this level on a consistent basis.

I've never been one for hanging a player out to dry...... Here comes the but...... He's shocking. God only knows (and Conway, Lee etc) how much we paid for him and what he coins in per week but whatever the figure it's too much. He's woeful. Limited. Nervous. Tactically inept. Liability. Apart from that the spreadsheet was bang on.
