So, are the pitchforks and marching boots back in the shed then?

No the pitchforks still out because this result just proves that with a little more ambition from the board and a little mote flexibility in the implementation of the plan this season could have been so very different.

Yes.... but some on here have been telling us that, apart from two or three players, the entire squad are cr*p, will never be footballers let alone Championship standard and need offloading!!

After the Charlton result I felt we'd be relegated. Made the Wednesday and Birmingham results a lot less annoying. I'm enjoying the win today but I can't see it changing anything as we're still bottom. 7 points is a massive gap.

For most of the season that's how theyve performed that's why we are still bottom of the league we've had a result today sometimes that happens problem is we probably need another 8 to 10 like today to have any chance of staying up.

Even if by some fluke we manage to stay up, it is still no way to run a football club. You can criticise people complaining as much as you like, we all want the best for the club and it is my opinion the current owners do not. I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong.

The players are cr@p - the manager is rubbish and doesn’t know the first thing about tactics.

It just shows that about 90% of posters on here don’t know the first thing about football.

    We will probably get relegated.
But like I’ve been saying all along - there’s a bright future ahead.
It may take a few seasons.

It's not true though, is it? A lot of our general play has been good and attacking wise we've always looked a threat. We have just ****** it up at the back 2 or 3 times per game which makes it look like the rest of team is useless, which they aren't at all. It's been glaringly obvious that 2 or 3 players at the back haven't been up to scratch but it's being addressed too late.

Just a pity being a threat and playing well dosen't get you the points but scoring more than you've gifted the opposition does.

Not one thread started by the Holy trilogy of Barnsley bomber, Hykehamtyke or wath and west Melton.

must be really shjt for them when we win. We will still get relegated of course so they’ve got something to cling onto.

Wath and West Melton's caps locks broke, he's out of action for a while.

I'm ecstatic that we've won. One result shouldn't change anyone's opinion about this ****-show of a season though. I knew someone would make this sort of post and suggest otherwise though.

The reality is it's one great result in a sea of bad ones. We have a clutch of good players, Jacob, Cauley, Alex , who will be leaving in just a couple of months. With better management at board level we would have been ok this year.

    Maybe, then again maybe not.

These superb players we sold aren't exactly pulling any trees up in their new teams..

Ok Pinnock doing the best but he is surrounded by better players.

    As for Lindsay, Moore, Davies....

Spending more money doesn't always equal success.
