Be happy if that's where we are at the end of the season. Shows how important a good start would have been if the board hadn't sold the family silver!
Fair play to Blackburn. Their best player being out with a serious injury isn't stopping them. They deserve more credit than their one man team tag.
Interesting. Unfortunately for us though that form if continued to the end of the season will only get us to around 40 points which won’t be enough need to find a few more performances like yesterday in the next few games
Definitely we have to beat both boro and hull to stand a chance of staying up imo our last 3 games are very thought indeed
We wont beat Hull. We are playing on a Tuesday night. Agree we can’t rely on many points in the last 3 games but then I didn’t expect 3 points yesterday
Those last 3 games tho as things stand there will be huge pressure on the opposition. All we can wish for is that we too will be under massive pressure going into those games, it means we’ve got a chance. However i unfortunately fear our fate will still be sealed by that time. It would be some effort going into the game at elland road knowing we still have a chance. COYR!
That week in April when we play Stoke, Wigan and Luton is massive. We have one point from nine against those teams so far.
Don't over hype the games against Middlesbrough and Hull City like we did the games with Stoke and Huddersfield before Christmas.
Interesting that we had less shots, corners and possession than Fulham but still won quite easily.Nearly all season we've been the team who's been on top of all the stats and lost.Maybe it was a case of better concentration and energy saving tatctics.Well done anyway.
I think it was more that Fulham were open to the ball over the top when we got possession and we got the ball forward really quickly before their defence was organised - even easier after they went 3 at the back and pushed forwards trying to get back into the game A lot of sides we play set up a good defence and we cant break through it and spend a lot of time passing sideways trying to create an opening Birmingham a classic example - then they waited for us to gift them a goal We managed to avoid doing that as well on Saturday I fear Middlesborough will be much more like the Birmingham game - we will have most of the possesion and be up against a 10 man defence if we can score first we might well be able to play a similar game but at 0-0 or even worse 0-1 we seem to struggle to unlock a packed defence
If we beat Middlesbrough and then replicated the same points total for rest of season that struber has got, we would end on 46 points. The results improved under him but we were too far behind to be fair to him, without a significant change in results. Without a major recruitment in January he's had to work with what he's got
That's the reality of the situation. We can do ok from here on, but it probably will not be enough. Damage has been done.
