That talent you talk of rarely shows itself on match days. He plays games as though its a training session when no real tackles go in and not 100 per cent effort goes in either.

I`ve said it before he`s worth watching at keepy uppy at haif time , but thats all.

I've defended him in the past but last night he offered nothing, would rather we still had McGeehan and Wilks to try.

Like I've said before, i have been a big critic of Mike Bahre... I hoped and prayed he would be sold in January, but honestly he has been amazing last two games.. apart from a few misplaced passes but nobody perfect i guess,

He is running about and tackling

He has a few nice touches when he 1st gets hold of ball but he gave ball away loads today and offered very little threat going forward. Mowatt was miles infront of him in every department like normal again today.....

Fair play to you Sir. Takes a real man to admit he was wrong and to apologise. When he played in League
one, Bahre showed some really nice touches and played some killer passes to set up goals for some of our other
    players.

As we know , an important part of football is confidence. Maybe the adverse comments he was picking
up on from the terraces were affecting him.? Whatever was wrong seems to be now well and truly behind him
and he's more like the Mike Bahre we welcomed when he first came to the club.

I would not say Mowatt was "miles in front of him in every department". Bahre's distribution when he gets it right is first rate but often he tries to thread the ball through very narrow gaps hence the interception rate is high. Mowatt has nowhere near the level of close ball control that Bahre displays when under pressure (although I cannot think of anyone in the first team that has). Whilst I like Mowatt and think he is a great asset to the team I think he has reached his maximum level whilst Bahre has the potential to improve. He possesses abilities you cannot teach. I agree he has, for long periods, been very frustrating, showing only glimpses of what he is capable of one game MOTM then going missing for weeks on end. He was outstanding yesterday, as were all the team.

Special mention for Brown... on around 80 minutes he closed down one defender who he pressured into rushing a pass and then ran 30 yards to close down the receiver, caught him by surprise and dispossessed him. Some engine that lad and never he stopped running for 90 minutes.

Oduor also shows promise although he struggles against experienced defenders when he goes on forward runs, but at least has the confidence to take them on. He did a great bit of trickery yesterday late on to create space for himself to get a shot away but unfortunately he sliced it wide.

Halme and Solbauer Ludewig 'nuff said! Early days but they are starting to look like the answer to our defensive woes!

    Onwards and upwards. COYR!

Good summation that. Two clean sheets & Middlesbro had zero shots on target today. A strong back four performance, but also less silly balls given away in midfield.

You can tell we won tragic has become magic again when in reality he was average(an improvement), although I will say he did put more effort into tracking back, but the cost of that effort was for him to go missing again especially late in first haif. Won a good tackle in the first half to then ponder and have it took back off him. Mowatt was having a word with him before second haif kicked off, I believe he was telling him which way we were kicking. Opinions eh am reading the same excuses from some I was reading 12 months ago.

Have to disagree here. I've been his harshest critic this season, but his last two performances have been sublime. He even got his shorts dirty!

I think he is so marmite, that he can do 10 things well and 2 bad and some people will just rememberthe bad.
It has become a bit of joke amongst the people i talk to, even yesterday a pass went astray and the people i talk to , all said , get ready they will just talk about that!
I will admit he has been poor in a few games this season but when he is on.....like yesterday and Fulham, he is every bit as good as Mowatt and Woody.

One of the most talented players in the squad but the most frustrating player we have. Some games he looks unbelievable and others you wouldn’t know he was playing. Fair play he’s been very good the last 2 games he has to become more consistent with his performances to have a long term future with us.

You see that works the other way as well and folks rarnd me agree and disagree with me. Its opinions I dont rate him you do.

With Ritzmaier fit will Struber try to shoehorn him and at whose expense or will he have learnt his lesson.
