Tickets are favourably priced for Saturday’s fixture, following a reciprocal agreement with Cardiff City. Prices for the fixture start at £17 for adults, £15 for concessions, £10 for under 19s and £5 for under 12s. Should be a good home crowd!! If you are a reds reserved member you can also get a further £1 off tickets for friends/family as well when buying in advance!
Got mine. Thought I'd better get myself up to Oakwell before COVID-19 suspends the season. Not been since the Hull game mostly due to injuries sustained when I fell off my push bike early in january (cracked skull, separated clavicle and several broken ribs).
Just what I want to hear - NOT! - Shortly I'll be taking a trip on my pushiron - how did the incident occur?
It was a very windy stormy day and I was heading home from work in the dark. I got a bit tangled up in a huge bush that was overhanging the edge of the road, the wind was probably blowing it more into the road. Next thing I knew I was sat in this bloke's car with my phone in my hand and he was telling me to call my next of kin. Another bloke put my bike in his land rover and a nurse also stopped and had a good look at me. We met my partner Anne at a nearby pub and she took me to A&E. The injuries are all down my left side so I obviously went that way off the bike. The bike was surprisingly undamaged.
Wow - I think I'll stick to the trans pennine trail...... it's a tad safer I think - is the bike for sale now? - but seriously I hope it hasn't put you off
No way, I can't wait to get back on it. I've been doing a bit on the turbo trainer this week but I find it really boring. My commute is normally on an old railway track (route 63 between Swadlincote and Measham) but in the winter it's too muddy which is why I was on the road.
