I’d be concerned if I was the owners, I reckon the crowds could potentially drop by around 30 to 35% next season, possibly even more.

Well in team ****, you learned **** all from the first season did you?

The core 8000 season ticket holders will still be there next season. The jump on the bandwagon team will fade away until they see us top of league or a chance to go to Wembley again then they will comeback. Season ticket sales wont drop really....

I’m a mug so I’ll keep going even though I disagree with the way the clubs been run & most of the decisions the manager makes.

I’m out. Will still go when the mood takes me but don’t feel it’s worth committing to on anything other than a match by match basis.

I used to be a season ticket holder but I pick and choose my games now. I want to be entertained for my money and have a busy life so need to be able to justify going.

You can call this band wagon or whatever but I imagine there are loads of people in the same boat. A lot of people like me will be missing next season.

It's sad but true that most football fans up and down the country are the same and this is why owners don't really care how or what they do with clubs

There are very many of that core who are saying they won’t renew.

Walking out yesterday at the end of the game (to be fair many had already gone before that), as well as grumbles about the match there were plenty saying they weren’t renewing.

Emotional reactions to a poor game, and a lot of them still will. But not all.

I think we will lose some of that ‘core’ after this season. The numbers will drop.

Problem with that approach for me would be that the match day prices would never seem attractive and I would end up never going.

I wont be renewing - I'll probably be watching Wombwell.

23 years I've had one - the current board have basically killed my interest in the club.

Think you’re wrong. I know several dedicated ST holders who won’t be renewing. Far from being the bandwagon type, they are people who would ordinarily sign up in any division. I’ve had a ST every season since the early 80s (with the exception of a few years when i was at University). It’s a no from me until the attitude/ approach from those running the club changes. I think there will be a huge drop.

There is no ambition from the owners, without ambition what is there to support ?

I will be renewing - for me, no matter what, it would be unthinkable not to, even more so after we were hours away from not having a club at all.

I'd class myself within that core, but I'm not sure if I'll renew yet. I've had a ST since 1995, including for season post-admin in League One when I had a 300 mile round trip for home games.

I don't demand success, or entertainment, but I do always want to retain the hope that we're punching above our weight and always striving to achieve the highest league position possible.

Currently, I see a club that is content to be relegated to League One and play there, and which showed no urgency to rectify errors made this season when they had the chance to push for Championship survival.

The owners might be happy to yoyo between divisions (although I sense a serious complacency about how competitive we'll be in League One next season) while watching on in silence from afar. That's not necessarily enough for me to remain emotionally invested, although I don't yet know what I'll choose to do when faced with the decision to renew.

I'd watch a Reds team in the Conference if that was the extent to which they were capable of achieving. I'm less interested in watching one in League One which threw in the towel in terms of trying to stay in the Championship this season.

Probably still be 7 or 8k next season, which will be a significant drop but not enough for the owners to consider doing anything. Will just make us look tinpot.
