Must admit he wasnt my favourite PM but miles better than any to follow him and a galaxy away from Johnson Hadnt realised how many crises he had had to deal with - good article on how the world leaders are making the C19 worse by lack of any coordination https://www.theguardian.com/comment...ronavirus-crisis-leaders-failing-gordon-brown
That pillock is the reason why we went into a recession to say he was a qualified charted accounted his sums didn’t add up when he was chancellor
Bet Boris will blame Corona virus for all our economic woes but Gordon wasnt allowed to cite worldwide recession for the economic problems then.
Either you are on a poor wind up or totally lacking in understanding of the causes of the worldwide financial crash triggering a recession as I am fairly sure Gordon Brown was not the reason we went into a recession - I think you need to look to some capitalists for that
He was actually praised for his actions and leadership during that crisis by a lot of eu leaders but that is never reported and the right wingers like to blame him and labour.
I'm fairly sure that Boris isn't responsible for the Corona virus. I think you need to look at some Chinese for that. Let's just see how things pan out from here. In the meantime, a nice article on how well Gordon's premiership as a whole panned out might keep us happy and well informed.
Wish we had Jeremy corbyn he would have gave us all a months wages paid up in full in cash to stay at home and self isolate we could all sit at home on our free broadband and get paid.
He created a bigger long term problem by destroying our pensions https://www.ftadviser.com/2014/05/0...ions-raid-WTQAjLW5DSRp9HUxwNZN7K/article.html
Brown was a good bloke who got the blame for a global recession that wasn’t his fault. The problem is his image & the way he speaks. Rightly or wrongly that’s what people in this country vote for.
Well we’ve had 10 years of austerity, seeing our public services decimated, while national debt has gone through the roof, and endured Tory-created Brexshit, yet some people still try to pin the blame for a global event on the British Labour Party. Just goes to show that you can fool some of the people all of the time.
Right wingers like the previous and current chancellors, who were both working for investment banks at the time of the global financial crash of 2007....?
