My daughter, exactly same today, two under 4 sent home told to self isolate. Her work have told her in no uncertain terms they are not happy and she should have tried to find people to cover and as a result won’t pay her.
Her employer is the NHS (admin not medical).

Possibly NYR but she and the Scottish govt can only work with the money afforded to them from Westminster.
But this is no time to start name calling. Things far too serious

What’s you f****** issue here? The man’s laid out a concern about the way the crisis is being handled and all you want to do is politicise and nationalise the issue.

That’s what the great british public voted for. tory supporters just wouldn’t listen and no doubt if they survive, they’ll probably follow the sun and Mail and do it all again at the next election.
    They just wouldn’t listen

Imo we should be in Coalition mode , that’s what we did in wartime and imo it’s not about which MP is the prime ministers favourite but now is the time fir best person for the job . Whether it be SNP, Labour , Lib Dem etc .
Johnson is keeping it in house and I think this is bigger than the Tory,Labour or any other party .
Now is the time for the best people in the job , this is about many lives and livelihoods and to allay any political infighting MPs under Johnson’s stewardship should work together .

Much as I detest the Tories, we must recognise that as a country (ALL the UK) we are in severe danger. We are said to be 3 to 4 weeks behind Italy in the spread of this disease.

In the last 24 hours they have recorded 475 deaths. 24 hours!!

Petty political points scoring won't help.

We have to look out for ourselves and each other, help where we can especially the aged and vulnerable, follow the guidelines, selfishness and arrogance (I'll do what I want attitude) will cause deaths.

Many of Europe’s political party’s have come together and rightly so . We’ll see what Boris does but if he doesn’t bring the country together and and the political elite with all their knowledge and influence .
If he makes this political he will never be forgiven imo.

Everybody has a right to question those in power about how they are responding to this crisis. Our jobs, our loved ones and our lives are on the line.
Do I think they know what they are doing? Not really! Do they think that? Again I’d say not really.
How can you know what you are doing when it’s never happened before in the modern age?
I think mass testing is probably pointless, so I agree with that. You could be tested today and have it tomorrow.
I think that testing of those with symptoms should happen, because it may save some man hours and reduce anxiety.
As Johnson is in power, who else should we question?
