They could give anything, and all you’d say is... they wouldn’t have done that for people in Sheffield... look around you dick it’s affecting everyone, they’re helping everyone. Take your hatred specs off for 5 minutes. Smell the roses!
Dick? Bit strong that kid! Opinions eh! Not allowed them on here by the looks but nowt changes there eh! I don’t hate anyone tbh, just going on previous historical form on bad things that happen outside of the capital, that get passed over by the government. That was my point afore you jumped all over my opinion and threw insults. I’m fully aware of the situation thanks. Think you should wind your neck in a tad pal.
I spend most of my time cycling between cafes and going to bars. I was really looking forward to the warmer weather and getting out more. The whole summer is looking very bleak now.
I'm astounded. A conservative government, a conservative chancellor has just nationalised huge parts of the private sector. Incredible. This tells you just how desperate a situation this is.
I have detested the tories all my life, self centred, exploitative, selfish me me me mentality. However, watching this announcement I have been impressed. The chancellor seems to understand that the poorest will be hardest hit, and I was surprised at the sheer scale of the package of help. I can only applaud what they're doing, (ooh, that took some saying) and as has been said, this is a prime minister in waiting....Last Gasp Johnson you're sat next to your successor
This wasn’t an opinion, it was a supposition based on nothing but your hatred for a previous establishment. I’m glad you’re aware of the situation, you’ll realise the ridiculousness of your earlier statement. You’ll be able to make great comments when we see what happens at the end of this, if hopefully we do. I’ll retract my calling of names, it was crass and ridiculous. I initially put that I’d retract the dick... but in reading back it just looked wrong.
His time is limited. Would not be surprised if all political parties are invited to make up a cross party govt to try to see us through this disaster. Only if we can get everyone on the same side and to pull together will we see us win this battle. Johnston has proved to be useless.
I like this chancellor he seems to know what he doing looking after the working folk for a change he’s next PM for definate
My Nan passed on Sunday - looking like only 6 allowed in church - excluding vicar, undertaker and my nan of course. Crem so far not restricting numbers - but no doubt this has changed and we dont' know yet. Probably same as church. We had booked a function room - but that is now off - hoping to gather at someones house - but how many and exactly who is much debated. In all honesty we're already resigned - if that be the right word - to a party on her birthday later in the year rather than on the day of her funeral.
Sorry for your loss and the added stress current events add to that. The human side to these restrictions is terrible for many.
