For any who are watching how our buisness leaders are all mucking in to help the country and deciding to vote with their feet against the likes of Sports Direct and Wetherspoons here is another one Wetherspoons arent paying their suppliers for goods already received until the pubs open again https://www.foodservicefootprint.com/news-alert-wetherspoon-to-withhold-supplier-payments/
I wont - but then I have only been in one Weatherspoons pub in the last year - for various reasons now I definitely wont be going in one under any circumstances
I’m not sure they will. Deborah Meadon described it as his Gerald Ratner moment. I have to admit to a soft spot for a spoons, I even forgave his Brexit stance (his pubs aren’t responsible for his political views). But this is beyond the pale.
Only ever been in once. In Leeds for an appointment with wife's legal reps and we popped into the Wetherspoons at Leeds Station. Bit of an eye opener.! After that visit, we used one of the bars in the Queens Hotel.
