    Surely if he tested positive for Coronavirus and had symptoms its a minimum of 14 days isnt it - ideally he should test clear before he is allowed out.but given our testing fiasco I am not sure how realistic that is

    I thought it was 7 if you have symptoms, 14 if you are in contact with someone with symptoms.
    Goes to show either way how confusing/unclear the messages are sometimes

    Just checked, Gov website says 7 for you with symptoms , others without symptoms who live with you 14 days

    7 days 14 days for the of the household, because of the incubation period.
