Worrying times for him and his family Hope its not as bad as it sounds but hard to put a good spin on it
I would also imagine that he is less likely to need to go to actual intensive care as he would be getting more attention than other patients anyway so if they've felt the need to move him it must be even more serious
Apparently the move to intensive care is only precautionary, in case he needs a ventilator. Are they being extra cautious or are they just trying to put a positive spin on it?
just goes to show the severity of the virus and the need for the measures implemented best wishes for a speedy recovery
Well Raab is going to be running the country for at least a couple of weeks hopefully only 2 or 3 but it isnt good they moved Boris to intensive care even if he pulls through he is going to be out of action for a while and now you have to consider there is a possibility he might not make it - I really hope that doesnt happen though and Raab in charge is only a small part of the reasoning
well I am sure they are being cautious but its not a decision they would make lightly if he is in ICU he is seriously unwell if he hadn't deteriorated they wouldn't have moved him there/ But clearly he was worse than they let on yesterday
Russia Today told us he was on a ventilator this morning. Get well soon Boris how awful. Regardless of your views of his politics spare a thought for Carrie and the rest of his loved ones. The success rate on ICU wards is really low and worse for a man. Fingers crossed for the best.
I agree with you. It's just interesting that every statement that they've put out has emphasised the fact that it's just a precaution. Just trying to ease public fears?
As much as I hate him as an individual, he is our PM & I hope he's OK. He will get better care than most, but I wish no ill on him.
It was reported on LBC this morning that he was tweeting and still in touch with his team. It sounds like his deterioration was rapid and started this afternoon.
