I must have been transplanted to an alternate reality Several times recently I have found myself on the same side as the much detested Piers Here is another example - I am finding this all very confusing
Agree but how he got any job in the media or ‘journalism’ after the fake photos scandal at the Mirror and phone hacking where he refused to accept any responsibility for either is beyond me
She was useless and he was fantastic in making her squirm as she smiled and couldn't answer straight questions. He has also worked at getting NHS staff free parking whilst paying fines of those who got one. But the best work of all is how much he's helped Tom Moore raise his millions for the NHS by having him on GMB many times and mentioning it multiple times a day to his millions of Twitter followers.
I agreed with his anti gun stance when the was in America too. But the phone tapping was sick, particularly in the case of Mille Dowler. I try and avoid GMB.
I read something the other day (Twitter maybe?) that pointed out how Morgan operates in a very similar way to Boris. Each tends to pick the most popular side in any debate and then pretend he’s been on that team all along. (Plus they’re both c*nts). Not sure that explains his stance on gun control in the US though...
Why the **** don’t politicians just say. “I don’t know the answer. We are working to give that answer but as of now I can’t give it to you”. People would understand and respect that. Lying and subterfuge don’t have to be the default.
I don't like him, he's odious. Not that I dislike his position in this particular argument, and yes, because that is my position too, I wasn't upset that he got his victim to squirm, we're all a little sadistic when our team is winning, but next week he'll be doing that to someone fighting for the rights of people who have lost their jobs during this crisis or someone highlighting the plight of refugees. He bullies people and talks over them. And he's good at it. When we agree with his stance it seems amusing, but often I don't, and I know he uses twisted facts and half truths to win arguments rather than sensibly debate the issue. I found this fun but I know it's not right.
But it got Boris elected so why would they change it? Personally I would have more respect for a politician who actually admitted it when they got something clearly wrong, everyone makes mistakes not sure why lying and evasion are better for politicians than honestly admitting when they are wrong but that seems to be the current standard
Exactly, I had a bit of respect for him over that as the Americans on the whole were very against this stance
This is what I put on twitter this morning.... Piers Morgan is actually right what he’s saying and the questions he’s asking and yet he still comes across as a t**t
