My stepdad died around 10 years ago (he was born around 1930) - he told me that as a kid he used to have watter whelps - just wondering if any of you old uns remember these? - from memory I think he said it was some sort of mixture put in boiling water which then expanded then when it came out they used to put golden syrup on and eat them - need the answer as I have an online quiz tonight and want to make sure nobody goes on the internet and googles it which I have already done and couldn't find it anywhere - hopefully one of you will know!!! - thanks
