Is that all that got posted because knowing the sort of stuff that does get posted and they refuse to ban I'm really surprised.
Is there a way to respond to the ban? So you just put that photo on your status and no one commented?
I'm guessing here but this is a possible reason. Every image is unique and is effectively stored as an electronic fingerprint (try doing a reverse image search on one....this doesn't show up but if it has been used and removed from facebook previously it will only been in their data system) . A lot of Facebook's system will be automated (it's too big not to be). When an image is posted it may be automatically "fingerprinted" and if it then matches an image that has previously been used within something that was subsequently banned/removed (for whatever reason...I've seen some very innocent things escalate quickly) then it could have been automatically removed an the poster gets an automated ban....no human involvement. The problem lies in what has the image been used for before. in what context and what comments were made beneath it. If you created the image yourself and this is its first use then all I have said is complete b0ll0x
One of the groups I belong to. Have a live stream , every day, a quiz. Had the St George flag up. And now Removed him from Facebook for a period. The worlds gone mad.
Nope I didnt create it myself, it was the same image I posted last year too but that didnt get reported and deleted.
I'd take it up with them if I was you, there's no prob's with the Scots, Irish, Welsh etc celebrating their national days.
Its specific to the image you used for some reason Wayne and is automatic so I'd imagine that considering the numbers bands due to these two images and the fact it has media attention I'd say they'll lift the ban soon
