    Fair points.

I was thinking just from the point of this season compared to next season rather than contracts etc.

Ideally this season would be finished, but I can’t see it happening before the end of June, even behind closed doors.

Thought Fifa have already not given the option of null and void?

So PSG will be champions, same with Liverpool if EPL follows, dont know what will happen with European qualifications relegation etc

Germany seem to have a far better grip of this pandemic than anyone else in Europe for some reason. Maybe Boris and co need to be implementing the same covid response?

I’m surprised the German government are allowing this TBH, the scientists in Germany are saying despite the measures taken by the teams in training etc, it is only a matter of time and the risk is still too great.

Other countries are doing even better (comparitively) than Germany - Portugal, Greece, Slovakia, Denmark and a fair few others.

There are so many different explanations, for instance the reason the USA has so many cases is just down to them “being so much better at testing”. ( quote of today by guess who:confused:)

Germany has seen an increase in infection since a relaxation in lockdown. They will quite probably have to review this over the coming days.

Greece has done fantastically well (I know as my parents live there). There's a huge sense of community over there and whole villages look out for each other. My parents have been left meat, bread, vegetables etc (and raki) at the end of their yard curtesy of the local farmers and land-holders. Very very few people have flouted the lockdown. One daily essential outing only (permit required) and if caught out a 2nd time 300€ fine and if in your car the plates removed for 60 days.

We should have had similar here instead of this wishy washy largely unenforced lockdown which seems to be slowly disintegrating. I’m seeing ever more traffic on the roads, got on the A1 earlier having left the office about half 7 and it was like any normal morning. Second wave this autumn with the added complication of the flu season starting.

One Greek island had to have a strict lockdown after a cluster from a clandestine church session - several of them were really ill :(

Yes the church has been problematic, especially as Greece has just celebrated Easter. To be fair I once attended my parents villages saints day festival at the local church: full boiled goat in a huge vat and the rice cooked from the juices.
I wasn't well the next day either :)
