I didn't, but it doesn't surprise me. Somebody's making a killing from crap like this. Stuff the fans, we're just an inconvenience to the decision makers.

I wonder how long before they try and make no relegation a permanent option or maybe just have one or two teams promoted?

They've tried before and failed but this time around they will believe that they have more leverage to demand things for the benefit of the premier league and their status in the league. There is nothing that league can do that would surprise me.

As for football being played I'm torn on it. It does seem to go agaisnt social distancing. But then again factories and warehouses will be full of people earning Minimum wage- £12 per hour and they won't be able to social distance either.
I seems to be the case in all this the poorest paid working folk don't matter. They can continue to work so those sitting at home can have everything made and delivered for them. Maybe I'm just having a bad day, but all i am seeing (especially on Twitter) is people complaining they don't feel safe to go out and we need to stay locked down. While they are quite happy to have things delivered to them by these people. And buying luxury items form supermarkets that poor folk are actually have to make or they won't get paid.
Think I need a essential beer!

Maybe because. (And I say it lightly.) It’s a contact game.

So have 6 sets of supporters outside one ground? don't think that'll work

Football is preparing to come back. Why are we engaging in this madness? We have all implemented safe & social distancing. We understand the we can’t get too close to the person next to us. We clap & make noise for the NHS workers. Captain Tom raises fortunes. We have lost family and friends tragically. There have not been enough ventilators to go around or protection for the brave front line NHS and other staff. These brave people are still working crazy hours to help us survive this pandemic. We have all tried to pull together. So why are they talking about completing a football season? What is this insanity? What if we witness the burial of our favourite sports men & women? We will then ask who allowed this to happen? Who will be saying that we all wanted the football season to be completed then? Stop this madness now! These players are in many cases petrified and scared. What are we doing even thinking about sending the player’s back to play? Can you imagine how we are going to feel if we bury sports people because we pressured them to play? Scrap the football, cricket and sports seasons NOW! Life is precious... have we forgotten what’s important in life and the hard earned lessons we have supposed to have learnt already?

I assume the intention is to test all the players to avoid further transmission. I don't think the proposals will put players at risk.

Personally I don’t see how it can work, unless all players are quarantined along with all coaches and staff could be tested right now, call for fuel on way home and catch it, no symptoms then play 3 days later and infect their team and others. Football is a contact sport, so without all players and staff quarantined and then totally isolated there is still a big risk

IF.... the season continues in some form it does not seem beyond the realms of possibility that clubs could offer free live video to all supporters who are season ticket holders. Other supporters could 'buy in' to the video at reduced cost of ticket...Just a thought

Player gets injured has to be attended by emergency services ends up in hospital with the risks that entails. Some players will just not be up for it

All players and staff needed for all games would need to be in quarantine 14 days before tournament. Then they would have to stay together with no other outsiders until the end of the season. It's the only way it could possibly be safe . Cant see it happening.
