Anyone got any good ideas for rounds? It's my turn to be quiz master this weekend.

It's an international audience so "Guess the Simon Davey Loan Signing" bonus round probably won't work.

I've done three quiz weeks for work. Happy to e-mail you the questions and answer sheets if you want to send me a private message with your e-mail address?

I did one last week I got some good ideas for questions from lonely planets ultimate travel quiz.

I did a 'who or what am I' round based on giving 4 or 5 clues using all sorts of different topics: tv, music, sport, travel, gen knowledge, etc
    eg Sylvester, David, Jodie, Tom

Sounds like fun. After 6 weeks of lockdown, I might start with the shower scene from "Psycho".

We had one last week and used Kahoot to make the quiz - everyone uses their phones as a keypad and it awards points for speed of answers. Gives you a leaderboard at the end - don't log out half way through like I did :)

Zoom is ok but we use Webex. It’s exactly same but standard version doesn’t have 40 minute limit. Can stay on for hours without having to re connect.

I’ve been doing quizzes with Kahoot! too. You build a quiz in Kahoot! Then share your screen while in video chat. Players answer the questions on their phones and it tells you who is winning after every question

I liked it last week - makes it a bit more fun and there's no cheating :)

I'm assuming this isnt suitable for players who be in the Zoom meeting on their mobiles as they'd have no way to answer the question?

Not unless they have any other device to either access Kahoot! or zoom on.

God knows why everyone uses zoom unless the host has paid for premium. We used it once and found it incredible annoying having to keep reconnection every 40 mins
