So why not blame the Govt directly then? It is not unknown for hierarchy of the Civil Service to carry the can for Govt shortcomings. Typing in upper case makes you very Nudgeresque and doesn’t add anything to your point

I was just expressing a (very) long held belief that too many in the civil service are incapable of thinking for themselves and it is they who do the majority of the legwork not the MP’s.

Describe to me some of these ‘civil servants’ and how their relationship to government works, I could do with some amusement.

 

Attack my arse, stop getting over sensitive, It seemed to me you were bypassing Govt criticism of this debacle, I was simply making a point. Incidentally, I don’t think it’s largely a case of all Top Civil Servants being incapable of thinking for themselves, The ‘legwork’ they do is certainly not without the Govt approval and then scrutiny. Having an opinion and voicing it is very dangerous ground for many at the lower echelons of the Civil Service let alone those at the top. Ask the guy who recently exposed Priti Vacant as a bully.

Just so you know my neighbour who is the senior
Nurse at Doncaster RI’s COVID ward and had to look after people yesterday with a plastic boiler suit on all day, sweating her b0llocks off.

There’s a bit missing from this as well. The boiler suit had been used 3 times before by someone else and had holes in it.

Super heroes don’t wear capes.

 

Wondered why Government was advising us to look out for dodgy emails from unscrupulous people.

Always the goverments fault eh? Whether red or blue or the little yellow ones kept under the table and out the way, they would have all made the same fist of dealing with this virus outbreak.
