Indeed I truly hope there is a reckoning to be had for the way this has been handled. Incompetence just doesn't cover it
That is a very depressing and damming read, no doubt they’ll be a counter-spin pro- Govt version along soon.
Spending 2 weeks at the country retreat to finalise his divorce settlement, just so he could announce his engagement and impending fatherhood. Having missed every COBRA meeting Nero fiddling while Rome burned springs to mind.
Wrong man, wrong time, wrong job. He's a good time Charlie, the sort you'd enjoy during a boom time for the country. Just not we need right now.
The hard Brexit mob gave him such a thumping majority that we're stuck with the useless clown for years. On their heads be it.
Suffice it to say, that history will be their judge. Having said that, that will be scant consolation for the poor victims who have died and their dependents who have the unenviable task of grieving and attempting to get their lives back to some semblance of normality in the future.
I get it all the time and I’m no longer a labour voter, it’s ******** defending this shower ! And Corblimey isn’t the labour leader anymore.
Im a floating voter - havent voted Labour for years as in Farnham there is no point the only slim chance of voting out Hunt is to vote lib-dem though it doesnt really work - I would have Voted Labour last election if I had been in a seat where they stood a chance - though I have never been a Corbyn fan but there is a big difference between not being a fan and absolutely detesting someone like I do with Boris. Even though Corbyn wasnt my preferred Labour leader its hard to imagine him making all the mistakes listed in the OP link - he would have attended Cobra and put peoples lives as a higher priority - of that I am certain. What he could do would have been limited though by the state of the NHS and no time to really fix it
