A third Brighton player has got covid symptoms.
I would think this should put an end to any ideas of restarting the leagues.

I was thinking much the same. Just hope these Brighton lads only have mild symptoms

It’s funny how Brighton were one of the clubs opposed to restarting then all of a sudden players have come down with symptoms

Given that they will have to provide test results which will be checked, surely you aren't saying that Brighton are using their playing staff as cannon fodder!

I'm sure the players who have it and the people they've come into contact with aren't finding it that funny. If you're wanting to go down a conspiracy route, surely you'd think those who want to restart would all claim to have it now so that they can they tell everyone they will be definitely safe to play later?

I just can’t see how they can make it work whilst there’s the current levels of transmission. Even in Germany where transmission is low there’s new cases amongst footballers.

What do they do when a player tests positive?
Is it everyone he’s been in contact with that can’t play? Does that include opposition players he’s played against?

The fixture list will soon grind to a halt because so many players will be in quarantine.

Not saying that it’s just they are a team fighting to stay in the league it would be beneficial for them if the season would become null and void
