No, you fool, it means you can watch the endless repeats of Coast on BBC catch-up tv as the "team" goes round and round the same British coastline for the umpteenth time.

so let me get this right, boris the bullet dodger as issued UK guidelines that you can now go out for a game of golf or go fishing with anyone in you're household for as long as you like, but if you enter wales or scotland you may get in trouble? i won't mention NI as our government seem to have forgotten about them altogether

In June you can wait in long queues to social distance the best you can in retail shops.

But if you want to social distance in a hotel room to get a change or scenery in some other area you can wait until July.

No idea when you can visit friends and family to sit in a small group somewhere to finally see them.

But get on busy public transport and surround yourself with hundreds of people a day.

If I were you I'd avoid the leg glance to start with, just in case you get a tickle.

No it's the opposite. The original advice he was actually quite clear in telling businesses to stay open and keep the economy going. But at the same time he made an announcement about key workers who could allow their kids to stay in school.
A lot of people mixed the two up and thought the key workers list was the only ones who COULD work so now he's basically saying in no uncertain terms the same thing he said 6 weeks ago

Then why wait 6 weeks just to clarify?

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but the only way this ‘new’ guidance makes sense is if the original advice was that many places shouldn’t be working, is it not?

I honestly think it's because he's realised how much the furlough scheme is costing him. When it was originally announced I think he intended it to be used as a last resort but because he set the percentage so high it encouraged many businesses to take the easy way out.

The one that makes me laugh is “go to work but don’t use public transport if you can”

How many people use public transport that don’t need to?

Londoners at a guess. Its the only place in the country that has such a good public transport system that it can be easier to use that than to use a car, cycle or even walk.
