How can he increase fines when the guidance is so vague. Just hope that Chancellor can step up once we are through all this.

I regret joining the NHS I could be enjoying a lie in tomorrow on furlough watching GMTV instead of travelling to work on limited public transport.

Don't you get immunity from the clap once you've had it?

Its not vague, if your company can return you to work safely by social distancing 2m, good hygiene and staying away if you have any symptoms then go to work. If you want to go to the park by social distancing 2m good hygiene and staying away if you have any symptoms then go to the park, if you want to see a family member or friend then social dist etc etc. Stay alert ie dont do anything daft then the virus wont peak again, its not difficult to understand, all the threads and comments about it being unclear its not it is clear, we have to get working, get spending, stay healthy, not over load the NHS by once again ----- social distancing 2m, good hygiene and if you have any symptoms then just isolate from others.
Not aimed at you WF3Red im just getting frustrated with all the criticism, we are in the middle of a pandemic and if it was easy to resolve then it would have been. Im not hearing solutions put forward by anybody people just saying its not good enough.

Close the borders (ages ago). Test all returning residents - hospitalise the positive directly. Quarantine the rest. Social distancing. Near 100% mask wearing.

Hong Kong - now zero local transmissions for three weeks. Just over 1000 cases in total. Four deaths. No lockdown. Just closures and restrictions. Could easily surge of course - mainly under control for now.

    Other issues about to re-escalate.

I think the next big move will be to furlough public transport to take away the easy freedom of movement he's inadvertently granted. I wouldn't be surprised if rules are altered for key workers reliant on public transport.

I'm not saying they are doing a great job I'm saying it's pretty clear what the plan is going forward. Whether it's the right plan or not it's clear what we are being told what to do.

Sorry mate it’s as clear as mud. Re guidelines, social distancing. Can I visit my kids and grandkids.
Yes by social distancing in parks. Etc.
If so how do I get round essential travel. ? Has it been totally removed? My youngest son lives in London.
Why are we not quarantining folks coming in from abroad by plane. NOW. ?
Answer. Cos the figures show we can do it at the end of the month. WHAT ? at the last count 15,000 per day. Still coming in should have been quarantined from the earliest indications, in Jan/feb of the seriousness of the situation. Too little too late.
    Edit
As I’m writing Just started watching GMB
It’s just being highlighted how poorly the communication has gone out. Tory mp can’t even answer the questions put to him so doing the typical diversion tactics. In particular just screwed up on the family meet ups question. And in particular has avoided the have you visited family members.

The way forward isn't for everyone. Nothing can cater for everyone under these circumstances so avoid travel on public transport where you are in groups of people, if you have to where gloves, mask just be sensible, drive or walk with close family members if you can. I will see my family who don't live with me but just from in their garden or mine keeping 2m away not perfect but enough considering,
As for quarantine people coming in yes it's too late but is going to happen.
Work if people can especially in construction and manufacturing just to get the economy moving but do it sensibly.
Terrible situation but everyone needs to just follow the guidance and if they do it will get better if we don't it will be lockdown again.

None of what you have written here other than the last sentence makes any sense.
