    1. Hayseldens have moved their cars back out of the rear storage area and on to the forecourt.
    2. The resident heron at Cannon Hall country park has a secret fishing spot (I got to within 10 feet of it before it twigged).
    3. My next door neighbour is chuffed to bits to be on 80% furlough. He'd like at least another month.
    4. Boots the chemist is exactly that on Sunday. Pharmacy only.
    5. From 1st June, god willing, it may be safe enough for my wife to closely supervise 120 primary school children at lunchtime, but it won't be safe enough for her to cuddle her own grandson.

I learnt that NHS staff that use public transport, shouldn't use public transport as it will be full of people venturing to the coast social distancing.

That one's really got to you, hasn't it. It looks like you're pasting it into every possible thread. :)
For what it's worth, I reckon you'd have to be crackers to head to the coast anytime soon.

It was last weekend that got to me Old Goat. I saw the VE day celebrations at first hand and realise what the public can do if you give them an inch.

I reckon you would need to be crackers to do a massive conga but it didn't stop a group of people doing it. I am sure most sane people wont head off to the coast unless they live close by but there is a sizeable enough minority that seem to lack the common sense we are all being asked to use

My wife has done it for going on 20 years, so she's an old hand. I have noticed though that she's complained more and more about the job with each passing year. The kids were a lot nicer, she says, when she first took the job on.

It's society in general. The kids aren't fetched up the same way they used to be. I'm 34 and think I might be in the minority that still got a clout off their parents.

    1. You're right, but I didn't find out until yesterday on account of me driving around with my eyes shut.
    2. I thought there must be a pair, but I never see them out together.
    3. He's a pillock, so I won't be losing any sleep if it happens.
    4. I only wanted a hot water bottle.
    5. He's only 8 months old.
    6. I shall keep an eye out if I'm down that way. Thanks.

Seems a bit odd that I can drive to the park and meet my daughter, surrounded by everyone else, but I can't walk half a mile and go in through her back gate and sit with her in relative safety.

I think it's a case of when you stop someone doing something they want it all the more. It won't be long before groups of 4 playing football become groups of eight two families taking each other on. Such is the mindset being encountered.

Seeing as they are probably now the kids of those she looked after when she started, its probably her fault for being too lenient on the parents when they misbehaved :)
