    Farcical if true. How can you possibly say that the results are good enough to award someone £100m but not to relegate someone?

    I've heard similar, except I don't think the promotion from the championship is guaranteed.

    It all depends on what the premier league do. If there's no relegation from the premier league, there's no promotion from the championship.

    As a Barnsley fan, I'd say that Barnsley deserve to be relegated more than Leeds or WBA deserve to be promoted at this stage. The football authorities with their inconsistent league by league random approach will be opening themselves up to a whole load of crap. But at least they will get their Leeds darlings back.

    If there is no relegation but we are promoting 3 teams from Championship there must be promotion from L1 surely. I don’t think the OP can be completely right

    I've read that Sky WANT relegation from Premier or they want £340 million back. Like a previous fan said they want Leeds up massive club with zillions of fans and are on Sky more then any other club.

    there will be relegation from PL - it will be concluded. According that what I have heard anyway. Source can’t say but reasonably reliable

    Surely it would be in Sky's interests to have more clubs up there? More teams equals more matches and subscriptions id have thought.
