I have no questions to answer. I didn’t break any lockdown rules, and I didn’t say I would. But thanks for noticing I was away- nice of you to miss me
We didn’t, but while you are here I’m sure you’d love to engage with all the people you assumed have lost integrity? No?
Christ almighty... Cummings broke the rules. He definitely, unquestionably broke the rules. The "morons" on the beach did not break the rules. They did what YOUR government told them they could do.
How was it protecting their child by living with him in Durham instead of living with him in London? How was it protecting their child dressing him up in a doctor's uniform, getting him to take their temperature and bring them drinks of Ribena and an oximeter? The idea of not moving between properties was because anytime you travel anywhere, you risk an accident where breakdown services or ambulance services may have to attend. The people who are on the beaches now are there because the government said they now can. Playing devil's advocate but I reckon if it had been Corbyn or Starmer, there's not a chance in this world you would have been defending him.
Nowhere near enough staff, and the sad thing is that there’s still no evidence the software will work. And if it doesn’t? The answer is they’ll need more staff. What’s weird though? 10x the usual amount of UC Claims - the civil service handle it in-house! Invent a furlough scheme from scratch - the civil service handle it in-house! testing? Track and trace? Outsourced with none of the usual checks and balances to contractors without a great track record! And not exactly on track to succeed either.
"public health authorities" according to that article. Hopefully it'll be well observed. Many of us are coming from areas that have far stricter and more enforced lockdown rules than the UK and so have experience of following public health guidelines. It's not like there's going to be a sudden influx of government advisers.
How much of the content of these many interwoven stories is truthful? A journalist working for such a title like the Specator wouldn't lie would they? Between Ribena and fear of losing a child to social services I'm at a loss.
We only see what the media tell us. I don't know the full facts and neither do you, end of story. I'd say the same of anyone, regardless.. Not sure what you angle is on me not defending them. I was never a Corbyn fan but always a Labour voter. Although I think Starmer is a bit weak in terms of how he comes across ina charisma sense, I think he will do well and will probably stabilise the majority of the party (although I'm sure momentum will be trying to oust him pretty soon). You couldn't be further off the mark.. Cummings story isn't worthy of the news headlines and times it ie receiving, neither would it be for anyone else
That would have been immense.. still remember how much stuffing that miss seemed to take out of of everyone..
It's from his wife's own account: https://spectator.us/getting-coronavirus-bring-clarity/ Interestingly, at no point does she say a word about the 250 mile drive, despite it apparently not only being legal but a responsible and sensible thing to do. Nothing there about the terror they faced at the prospect of their child being taken into care either, something that you would have thought would have warranted at least one line, no?
Mr Cummings I believe was the one who reportedly stated that if old folk die it's a price worth taking....I'd say what this man does and says is very relevant. He's an unelected official clearly with far too much sway and influence.
They didn't break the rules on the beach.. Did you see the pictures...Absolutely crammed next to each other... If one person had the virus on one of those beaches, I'm pretty sure that that would have a massive impact.. Please provide details of where the government has advised go to the beach and do not observe social distancing rules! They are doing what their government has told them they could do...haha comedy genius Titus.
