Anyone else not had a snip since lockdown? And looking a bit different now? Starting with an overgrown 2019 Cauley Woodrow, which quickly went Beckham 1997, the locks then spread to a 1973 Rodney Marsh, and now have drooped to a 1971 Charlie George. If the barbers doesn't open until July, by then I'll either have to be 1995 Jason Lee or (with the aid of bleach and a good rub with a towel) Carlos Valderrama 1994. I suppose shaving it all off to a 2020 Jonjo Shelvey is an option. At my age though it might never grow back...
I used to shave mine a lot when i worked overseas so had some experience, but last week went down to a 7 on top and 5 on the sides which is harder than a straight 2 all over. Managed to tidy it by cutting round tops of ears with scissors. Looks alright for a DIY job!
I look like Kramer from Seinfeld or Doc from Back to the Future. I actually bought a headband the other day from Amazon. That puts me in really **** Gareth Bale territory
My Mrs as cut mine and we were sat having a beer in the garden the other night and she says “I think I’ve made a pretty good job of your hair, luckily you’ve got no style”...
Cut mine yesterday , bottle of beer in one hand / clippers in other . Grade one all over . Look like a tennis ball now . But low maintenance whilst the Turkish barbers open
Let the wife do mine the other day... let’s just say if there’s a Van Gogh lookalike competition.... I should win first place.
As DIY hair cutting gets better, the barbers must be worried about ever getting their customers back....
My husband only ever has his cut about every 4/5 months anyway as he can’t be arsed. Unfortunately, he was already on about 5/6 months this time before lockdown. It’s still nowhere near as long as in our uni years when I met him though when he looked like a coconut Mine’s getting long as I was well overdue a cut too. It’s about breasticles length now but I tend to tie it up when it’s warm and I’m not at work so it doesn’t really matter. I’ve never dyed it so that’s not a concern.
