    What they going to do, weigh them!? Ours is full of wet leaves off street from March that council used to clear but now don’t. Be a tad miffed if they refuse to take it!!

    It damages the bins if they're too heavy. Maybe put some into another container, bag?

    The weight limit for the hoist is 150kg. The 80kg is the weight the bin men are "allowed" to move due to H&S.

    The Green was suspended due to the amount of wagon drivers self-isolating, who are now coming back to work. They prioritised Grey (for obvious reasons) and the recycling bins because the council makes a fortune selling said recycling to the local recycling plants. They have to pay to dispose of the green waste. Its all about the £££.

    It's the right order for me. Doesn't seem to long ago there was no green collection and you had to go to the tip yourself as standard.
