Was at the picket when winder went in at Houghton and yes there were epic struggles that day . It’s the picket I’m on about was later near end of strike . There’s one road in and same road out to get to both collieries and it was always gonna be confrontational but when word got round it were met they came from miles around . Went into pit yards grabbed cans and cans of emulsifying oil and spread it all over road especially the little dip near Dearne valley pit . When buses and police vans got stuck miners were waiting in fields either side of road Sky went black with bricks , no reports of anyone being hurt but there were a few buses and police vans not in service for some time . National news filmed it from helicopter and six o’clock news dubbed it bomb alley . Stopped scabs getting in for a few days while they got a new strategy .
It's good of Covid to leave them alone. The question will be how much longer the government carry on with social distancing if all these bank holidays and busy beaches and packed transport and rammed marches keep resulting in no spike. Manchester right now....

-I thought it was going to be something satirical. Their take on things but I would suggest they are very much 8n the minority.
Protesters getting a bit excited now in Parliament Square London. Not long until it will all kick off.
Perhaps she's too old: my 8 year old grandchild might know them though. She spends lots of time you-tubing.
Utter rubbish ST. There's been at least two long running threads on here expressing disgust at police brutality against white football fans not to mention the miriad references to the appalling events at Orgreave. I don't know what the heck is going on with you. There is a clear and inarguable problem in the US of police brutality against black people and your constant efforts to suggest it's no worse than violence against whites is simply bizarre.
They make some extremely valid points. Far more than I could. ( A black American cop issued a very similar statement the last occasion this happened to a black American.) Whilst I don’t agree protesting in this dangerous time in person without the distancing. (It would have been better to petition the governments.) I agree that lots of countries peoples taking to the streets will highlight the injustices that BAME face. ( just not in the way it was handled) And hope something comes out of it. But Hopefully not more deaths from covid.
