We appreciate that supporters have had numerous questions regards this process following our communication last Friday, however, we can today announce that all seasonal members (Reds Reserved and Reds Reserved+) will be granted access to stream all nine remaining Reds fixtures. Club News YourDetails 10 June 2020 Access Codes (for iFollow Barnsley) plan to be dispatched on Wednesday 17 June – so please update your eticketing account accordingly - (HERE). Great news
Being able to watch all remaining games as a season ticket holder and not just the home games is excellent.
I imagine iFollow probably want to get people enticed this way to perhaps release some kind of streaming package for next season if games are still behind closed doors!
Happy with that. Won't be chasing any refund now. Quick question. Just registered for iFollow. Am I supposed to receive a confirmation of some kind? How can I tell if my registration has worked? After submitting my details, I ended up straight back at the subscription page.
Silly question - regarding the line Note, your individual code will only work on the device it is redeemed on. Is that for all 9 games - so if I redeem the code on my PC for the QPR game, but then for a later game want to watch on my ipad I am not able to or do you put the code in for each game and can pick a device to watch on each time?
About the best it could be under the circumstances. Glad we can watch all 9 games, assuming they work well with a decent enough picture (not expecitng HD here)then I will be happy to accept that in lieu of a refund.
We believe it's one code, one account, one device. We will release a final, step-by-step update before the first match weekend. Because things are - as you can imagine - always evolving.
iFollow is produced in HD, with four camera setup, graphics, replays and commentary. Obviously, your own device specifications determine how good it will be for you, and internet connection etc. But when I've watched a stream from home (if I've not gone to an away game or whatever), it's been first rate. I was in Belgium the weekend we beat Fulham at Craven Cottage and sat drinking 12% lager as we battered them. Was a dream production. Obviously, the stream providers won't have had this many folk using it at once though, so that's the test I suppose.
Did this with me, I'm on chrome via a chrome book. I also tried to sign in just to check and it came up email not registered. Not as straight foreward as they say. Maybe YTBFC or Bev could comment. Thanks.
Do you have an iFollow Barnsley account? Explain your process from start to finish and I'll do my best. However, it should be noted, we don't run iFollow subscriptions etc. There's a live chat service on there. We just populate the platform with videos etc. But, I can sometimes help with advice through experience.
I went on ifollow page and tried to register using my email and put a password in clicked on register and it took me straight to the subscription page, no conformation message came up. Went back to sign in page and tried to sign in and it came up email not registered. Tried to register again and straight away email wrong.
YTBFC and Old Goat ignore all the above. I have now gone on to ifollow page and instead of clicking on register at the top I scrolled down the page nearly to the bottom to the basic package section and clicked on register now and it took me to a totally different registration page to the one I was taken to before. Filled that in and it worked. Maybe the registration for new membership could be made a bit clearer. Cheers.
Funnily enough, old mate, I've had exactly the same problem. Well, I say 'I', obviously I mean Crystal!
