    League of Gentlemen gone as well. Ironic that they pulled it for blackface even though the character is a supernatural demon whose skin is that colour and it was nothing to do with race rather than the transgender jokes which are a lot more dubious in retrospect.

    All about diluting the message. Boris tweeted (4th of thread) that he doesn't agree with any statues being taken down. Such a message adds to the distractions and dilution of the message.
    Statues and Fawlty Towers are now the headlines. Tomorrow it'll be Tommy Fuckwit and his chav mates drinking skol and chanting about Muslims, Churchill, Saint George and William the Conqueror.
