If I had to choose between Stendel and Hecky - then it would be Hecky everyday of the week.
Football seen at the Well during Heckys time was the most exciting flowing football seen in a very long time.
Stendels style wasn’t nearly as good and was one dimensional.
Struber is a far better manager than Stendel.
Struber has shown he can adapt and change things.
As I’ve said - other than Morais we haven’t had a bad manager at the Well since Ritchie.
Hecky was the best of those.
And one of our own - which makes a big difference.

Both Heckingbottom and Stendell got fed up of following the science.

All opinions I suppose I thought stendels football in league one was great to watch probley the best since bassett or wilson. Heckys was good but he was fortunate to have Conors left foot so many of our goals were from set plays. Time will tell with struber aswell but jury's still out he makes some strange decisions like keeping radlinger in the side mistake after mistake and taking so long to drop anderson, substituting players 20 minutes into games

I can only go on the players they have available at the time so making excuses for him struggling at Hearts would be like being unable to praise him for getting us promoted when it was expected of him with the players he had available at that level.

Not at all. He gave us one of the best seasons we've had in our history and I can't think of many other head coaches or managers I would go to a midweek game at Shrewsbury Town for like I did for him. For us he had a really good team and got promotion which was expected. At Hearts he had a really bad team and got relegated. If he does move on it will be great to see him overachieve somewhere by doing better than what's expected of him.

Promotion was expected, there we go, yes we were one of the favourites and being up there was in the realms of possibility but expected narr.

But Hearts having a bad team is an excuse isn`t it?

Why do we seem to have to choose between Hecky and DS?
    I liked them both.
I do think that the players Hecky had for our D1 promotion season were of a better quality than those Daniel was able to muster.
    doesn`t mean I didn`t enjoy last season.
