Apologies Andy, I bet you must be rushed off your feet, but I just wondered if the club's agreement with iFollow has an expiry date?
It does, but I don’t remember the date off the top of my head. I think I’ll have left the job by then though, it was a long way away.
Cheers Pal Beth has also responded to my email, saying try the instructions on settings in Safari but still no joy ( I screenshot the error message !
For anyone still struggling: 1. Preferably using Firefox, click here: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/my-account/ 2. Click 'Register Now' 3. Click 'Register Now' under the final column that says 'Basic Pass' 4. Fill in the details, making sure to use a different email address to the one you have signed up with before* 5. It will go back to the page where you have to choose a package but it has created you an account so ignore that and click back here: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/my-account/ 6. Sign in using the email address you just signed up with and the password you chose 7. Click here: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/ifollow/season-ticket-holders/ 8. Enter your code 9. To test it works go here and click watch now: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/matche.../march/barnsley-vs-cardiff-city-on-07-mar-20/ (If the test link you've tried has #highlights on the end then either delete that bit off, or just scroll up. The highlights are not free and won't work). *If you don't have a different email address you will have to create one. There are lots of free providers where you can do this. I can type out instructions if needed but I can't be bothered if people are ok figuring it out or if they already have a different email address they can use.
Tried my other E mail and it said it wasn’t available? (Email that is) How can it not be available LOL? Thanks for the help, if I can muster up the enthusiasm to battle with it later, I will make up another email address. I know it’s not the clubs fault, but Ifollow is absolutely pants.
Quick question for @YTBFC if he sees this. I know that the code is a one device only thing but is there any way to change to a different device if it's found that the device you activate it on doesn't work with ifollow?
I reckon there's more than a grain of truth in your post. If you've registered yonks ago when email accounts were not as crucial as they seem to be now, and you also get ifollow mixed up with ticketmaster and the club, you create your own trail of destruction. I have recently bought 2 new season tickets, but haven't been sent a code. My son never buys anything. Never has from bfc or ifollow. He has a code. We're using his, we're cooking on gas, and we're not complaining. Till 5.00pm Saturday
Cheers Mr Whitey I thought that would be the case but hoped you'd somehow be psychic. It's what we demand you see.
I've been wary of using my code, but this gives me confidence & I'll take it for a spin tomorrow.... thanks, Jamdrop. If it doesn't work first time, I understand I'll be able to use my other email addresses to get a few bites of the cherry All of the Mr Dynam-YTBFC-eeeh stuff also brilliant & @YTBFC take a bow
