My vote is on Sollbauer. He keeps showing he is Championship quality. Even though he's not the captain, he looks to have a major positive influene over those around him, coaching them while also putting in a solid performance himself every time. I would want to give an honourable mention to Palmer for having a more than solid first team debut. And also an honourable mention for Walton for being there when needed. He didn't need to do much in the first half, but in the second half he made a couple of good interceptions, in particular when he had to come out and headed the ball away outside the box.
Crikey, I’d forgotten all about this poll. Solid performances all around. A part from Ritzmaier I could have made a case for them all (how did he survive substitution?) Went for Sollbauer in the end
Solbauer for me as well though I thought the entire back 4 and keeper did a great job. Woodrow was a bit out of sorts as was Ritzmaier but the rest did pretty well - especially first half
Solbauer if only for that tackle in the second half. If slightly mistimed it would have been a goal or a penalty. He does seem to be a leader out there.
I've gone Simoes because without his goal we wouldn't have won and wins are everything. Agree with everything others have put about the defence though.
There should be less variation on this poll than normal as for this we have all seen exactly the same game from the same position - often at a game you get different views depending on where you were sitting and also your views off the ball which can influence who stood out for you. - For this one we all saw exactly the same camera angles once we got in that was
Sollbauer. I’ve waxed lyrical about him on another thread, one someone started about Mads, so I won’t repeat. But for me he’s made all the difference.
I went for Williams who had a solid game at left back. Ludewig was also excellent first half. But Dougall should get it for the hair.
