No crowd noise is a big mistake. The commentators keep mentioning how unmotivated the players are and I believe the decision not to bother with any sound is a big factor in that. The players look like they don't care if it's league 1 next season. Certain can't be described as fighting for survival Ritzmaier is the worst in a long list of poor midfielders we've had in recent years. His continued inclusion at the expense of better players raises big questions over Strubers judgement. If Radlinger was in goal we'd be one down by now. I forgot Woodrow was playing Oakwell looks tinpot with the awful mess they've made of the advertising boards. Surely it's easier and cleaner to just remove them. Did I see a hooligan flag in the ponty end?
There's supposed to be the crowd noise app, is it just not working I wonder? Didn't even notice the advertising boards, but now that you mention it yes it doesn't look great. Nobody has been at their best today, Need to be better this half. Did somebody say just eat?
Hooligan flag? What did it say? Agree about everything else we would be one down minimum had radliger been in goal least Walton can catch a cross.
Isn't it just that, like with almost every team we've faced this season, the opposition are better than us - man for man and as a team. Our enthusiasm and determination has won us a few results, but we're in the bottom 3 because our players aren't very good and our team isn't very good. We might still win this, even though Millwall are much better than us, because we're giving it everything we've got.
I think it's a combination of them both. The players aren't very good but I'd also say that they aren't giving it everything to save their position in the championship
Millwall are fighting far better for the play offs than we are to stay up. Much like the QPR match the players look uninspired and unmotivated. We can't force their keeper to make a good save and spent so little time in attack that we've barely had a corner and those we've had have been poor. The only time the players should some passion was when Brown was fouled.
All the mistakes that were needed to be made for us to be in trouble were made before a ball was kicked this season. Everything since as been inconsequential.
Our poor record from early kick offs continue. We were holding on and not winning has lightened the pressure on the later games. Surely the players were told Luton had won but you wouldn't think so with the lack of urgency.
Two clean sheets and undefeated since the restart. If anyone thinks these lads aren’t trying you should think again.
I agree but as in the past when we tighten the defence we weaken the attacking side of our game and vice versa. Created very little today, and wasted time trying to play out from the back.
