Great game from our defence - looking much better than before the break.
Millwall are a good team and we didn’t look outclassed. Worrying that we couldn’t create any good chances though.

Well done to Walton, Sole, Andersen and Palmer in particular. Williams looked ok in defence but he’s been giving away a lot of fouls and doesn’t offer much going forward.

    It was painfully tedious though.

Good early signs from young Palmer these last couple of games not afraid to get on the ball in tight spaces and shows good composure when he gets it early days I know but looks like he could develop into a decent player.

We needed more out wide. Ritzmaier was half asleep I'm sure. I'd have had Odour in his position. He can beat a man & cross a ball & is our best set piece taker, but seems to have been frozen out since the Brum match.

Odour would be a miles better option at LWB than Ritzmaier

Agreed, no idea what Ritzmaier offers, whereas Oduor is quality. Can beat a man and takes better set pieces than Mowatt.

Much has been made about Millwall and the experience they have, the powerful players they have, how we never looked like scoring against them. But they didn’t have one meaningful shot at our goal in the 90+ minutes. How we longed for performances like this earlier in the season. Not nice to watch, apart from the odd times when we played some scintillating one touch football as we do, but we didn’t throw anything away by amateurishly surging forward and losing it at the back. I reckon it was an indication that the steep learning curve is being negotiated.
