So nice and easy who does the the best baked beans Me either Aldi or branston really dislike the watery Heinz
I agree on Aldi , I recently had a rare can of Heinz and can honestly say Aldi’s are way more flavoursome. I have a similar theory with ketchup too, cheaper alternatives to Heinz are better but they taste different which is why I think the masses still always turn back to Heinz !!
Branston. I can't believe I ate Heinz for decades, they really are bland after you've had Branston beans for a while.
Branston, but reading this I’ll try the corale ones from aldi Kev. Had some Heinz a month or two back, it was all I could get as beans were one of the things you couldn’t get in the supermarkets, saw these in a petrol station. They were shocking. Watery, hard, flavourless. I prefer Asda’s own to them monstrosities - but always get Branston normally. As I say I’ll have to get some aldi ones in next time I go for a middle aisle browse.
Got to agree.. Branston are up there, and are especially nice with a nob of butter. Aldis are nice also.
Branston for me: never had Aldi but will give 'em a try when they build one closer to me than asda (robbing t##ts my weekly shop gone up by a good 30% over lockdown).
Grew up with Corale Beans. Parents wouldn't buy names, too expensive. Never had Birdseye fish fingers. Used to even have no thrills stuff from KwikSave in my snap.
