There's been some bad players at the Well over the years but he has to be up there as one of the worst

I think Ritzy could be a decent deep lying midfielder but he is not a wingback.

He has done nothing the last 3 games total passenger so cant understand why he gets picked to start based on the last 3 nightmare games hes had.

Also, think it's harsh to knock a starting line up that's not conceded in 3.

It's not like they've been laiking wi ten men, is it, so Ritzmaier must be doing something?

I don't get the constant criticism... he's playing a role that Struber trusts him to play which restricts his forward play but has been a contributing factor in 3 consecutive clean sheets.

It's only this season we were leaking goals and people were complaining about that now we aren't conceding it's still not good enough.

7 points from a possible 9 I hope He continues to play as he is and we have 10 from 12 at 5 o'clock.

I'm very happy to go with the manager on Ritzy.
    He's been right so far.

The criticism he's received over the last three games is way over the top. He's not pulled up any trees, particularly going forward, but his tactical awareness and positioning is always spot on. Never stops running either. That position he's playing is difficult, you can't switch off. Struber trusts him and that's good enough for me for now.

Perhaps he’s one of those players who doesn’t appear to give a lot to the team, but by doing what he does gives more structure and as a result makes the others look/play better.

I must just see things differently to others he has done nothing for me those last 3 games and has been subbed in all 3, he wasnt on the pitch when we scored v blackburn.

He hasn't made any catastrophic errors.

Unless you watch him solely throughout a match, so positioning, awareness etc then it us a bit harsh.

Admittedly has made a few daft choices when on camera focus, like not knowing he would run the ball out of touch etc..

Don't rule out the importance as well of Struber expressing a message tactically in his native tongue to Ritzy, who then feeds it into his colleagues. I've seen Struber speaking to him during the match so can you imagine opposing bench trying to work out what he has just changed tactically.

All little things make up the teams performance. I've not been massively impressed by him by any shadow of a doubt but trust Struber knows his players better than any of us.

    You reds!!

I can't say he's done anything of note....but neither can I point to him being anywhere near as bad as some of the players we've had in the past.

I don't think he's pulled up any trees so far but equally I don't think he's been anywhere near as bad as some do. It's all about opinions but ultimately the only one that counts is the managers.

He buzzes around a lot and hassles and I think has contributed to our clean sheets the last three games, as frustrating as he is going forwards

"one of the worst" is just way off isn't it! He's been average at best, sure, but there's been plenty of genuine stinkers over the years!

He needs to contribute more on the ball though
